Véronique and Guillaume Reyniér
Domaine Val de Caire is the story of a deep passion for vines and wine—a passion that took hold while I was studying viticulture and oenology in Montpellier in 1987 and 1988.
During my internships, I had the good fortune to meet two winemakers who passed on to me a lifelong passion.
I spent the next thirteen years gaining expertise in various fields as a cellar master and vineyard manager.
In 2003, I had the opportunity to take over a vineyard in my hometown of Rognes, in the Aix hinterland.
This marks the birth of Domaine Val de Caire and the start of a wonderful adventure—my dream has come true. A secluded estate tucked away in the hills of Provence, where the vines reign supreme and are always the focus of my attention.
Currently, the vineyard covers 17 hectares that have been farmed organically since 2011.
Véronique, a tennis player from Savoie who spent her teenage years in Provence, joined me in 2009. Her presence by my side and her support have given the estate a new lease on life. With her warm smile, she will welcome you and introduce you to the fruits of our labor through our various vintages.
